We love having visitors! Here is some information about our school. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
You may wear any color of gi with any patches while visiting and training at our gym. For no gi classes please do not wear baggy clothing or anything with zippers. All clothing must be clean and without rips or tears.
Please arrive 10 minutes before class to fill out a waiver and get settled. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver.
Our Basics, All Levels and Wrestling classes are open to everyone from a brand new practitioner to seasoned black belts. Our Advanced classes are intended for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belts and above. For classes, we have day, week, and month passes for visitors.
Marathon Roll is open to those with six months or more class experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is free for students and visitors alike. Open mat is open to all skill levels and is free to all practitioners, regardless of membership or affiliation. Learn more about our programs here.
Getting to Upstream
Our gym is located at 207 N 3rd Street in the heart of downtown Richmond. During the day, free two and three hour parking in available at the 200 and 300 block of East Broad Street, as well as on the 100 and 200 block of N 2nd Street. After 6pm, all the parking around the gym is free.
If using public transit, we are conveniently one block away from the Convention Center stop of the GRTC Pulse Bus.
