No Women’s Class 2/16
We will not have women’s class this Saturday 2/16/19 as our women’s instructor will be out of town for a tournament. We will be back on schedule the following Saturday. Open mat will be on as usual from 12-2.
JT Torres Seminar Raffle
This February, ADCC Champion and grappling phenom JT Torres will be teaching a seminar in Raleigh. This seminar is organized by Roll Forever, an organization that promotes Jiu Jitsu in the region, sponsors athletes and puts on high quality seminars with elite athletes in Virginia and North Carolina. Upstream BJJ is raffling off one spot at this amazing seminar. Raffle tickets are $5 and purchase is exclusive to Upstream students. We hope to see everyone there! January Intro Block Offer
For the month of January, Upstream is offering a 12 class intro block for only $60! This block is for those totally new to BJJ who want to test the waters and see how training fits into their lives. Women’s Class Schedule January 2019
The first women’s class of 2019 will be Saturday, January 12. We will not have women’s class Saturday January 5. We look forward to starting another productive year of training and continuing to build up a strong women’s team! Get in touch with us if you are interested in our women’s only program. Our Saturday classes are open to ages 12 and up.

This weekend at Upstream BJJ
Get ready to train this weekend at Upstream BJJ! Don't miss marathon roll on Friday and open mat on Saturday. Women's class will be ON with a guest instructor. This week marathon roll will be in the gi and as always open mat is whatever you make of it! Call a buddy and get some great drilling in this Saturday 12-2. Marathon roll will start at 6:30. Johnny Tama Seminar at Upstream BJJ 9/1/2018
This September black belt and accomplished competitor Johnny Tama will be at Upstream! You may know him from his infamous footlock, the "tamalock" which he has used to quickly submit numerous opponents. The seminar will be from 12-2 on September 1. It is $40 for Upstream students and $50 for visitors. This seminar will be in the gi. Get ready for the fall competition season and add some new tricks to your arsenal!
